In December 1958 the first issue of the newspaper Dimitsana was published as an organ of the Brotherhood of Dimitsanites. The issue presented the newspaper as a place for truth, local concerns, patriotism, tradition and dialogue among Dimitsanites inside and outside the village.
The newspaper archive later became one of the most important modern sources for the social, cultural and diaspora memory of Dimitsana.
