Open Action on Arcadia’s Trails and Entrepreneurship

On 6 October 2025, the Dimitsana Interconference & Cultural Center hosted an open action dedicated to Arcadia’s natural trails and their connection with local entrepreneurship.

The event was co-organized by ARK Coworking Space, the Peloponnese Social and Solidarity Economy cooperative network “Pelopas”, the Dimitsana Interconference & Cultural Center, and Parnonas Development SA. It focused on how trail networks such as Menalon Trail, Pan Trail, and Arcadia Trail can become practical tools for business creation, visitor services, cultural interpretation, and sustainable regional development.

For Dimitsana, the subject is especially relevant. The village sits directly on the wider Menalon Trail landscape and is already linked with walking, heritage, local gastronomy, museums, monasteries, and the Lousios Gorge. Better trail interpretation and coordinated services can extend visitor stays and spread value across Gortynia.
