Safe Internet Talk at the Open-Air Water Power Museum

The Open-Air Water Power Museum in Dimitsana hosted an information event on safe internet use, organized by the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP) in cooperation with the Hellenic Police and the Gortynia Police Department.

The talk took place on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, at 16:00, in the context of World Safer Internet Day and addressed practical issues that concern families, students, and everyday users: personal-data protection, cyberbullying, responsible use of apps and social media, and the need for minors and adults to recognize online risks early.

Speakers included Police Lieutenant B Dimitrios Panagopoulos and IT educator Marinis Katsikeros, combining public-safety guidance with digital-literacy education.
