7th Peloponnese Tourism Academy in Dimitsana

Dimitsana hosted the 7th Peloponnese Tourism Academy at the Dimitsana Interconference & Cultural Center on 17 December 2025.

The session, titled “A Breath of Hospitality”, brought tourism professionals and local stakeholders together for training and discussion around hospitality quality, destination identity, sustainability, innovation, and cooperation. The choice of Dimitsana underlined Gortynia’s growing role as a mountain destination with strong cultural, natural, and experiential assets.

For the local tourism economy, the Academy was more than a training event: it was an opportunity to connect accommodation, gastronomy, culture, trails, museums, and community initiatives into a more coherent visitor experience.
