Dimitsana Opens the “Dialogues for Mountain Areas – Peloponnese 2026”

Dimitsana will host the first stop of the “Dialogues for Mountain Areas – Peloponnese 2026” on Friday, 26 June 2026, at 10:30, at the Dimitsana Interconference & Cultural Center.

The initiative of the Special Secretariat for Mountain Areas aims to highlight the challenges, opportunities and development prospects of Greece’s mountain regions. The Dimitsana meeting brings together representatives of government, local authorities, business and civil society from across the Peloponnese.

The choice of Dimitsana underlines the role of mountain settlements in the discussion around sustainable development, demography, entrepreneurship and quality of life in the Greek countryside.
