Nema — 1st Traditional Dance Festival of Dimitsana

The Youth Association of Dimitsana “Kryfoi Scholeiotes” and the Cultural Agritourism Women’s Association of Dimitsana are organising the 1st Traditional Dance Festival of Dimitsana “Nema” on 27 and 28 June 2026.

The Greek word nema (thread) becomes the central idea of the festival: a thread of authenticity that connects dance groups from different parts of Greece and brings together local identities, people and generations through the shared thread of tradition.

On Saturday 27 June 2026 at 21:00, at the Mikis Theodorakis Municipal Theatre of Dimitsana, participating dance groups will present a rich programme of Greek traditional dances.
